Proponent Update – Avio-Diepen Fully Integrated Into Proponent

This fall, we celebrated the one-year anniversary of the Proponent identity. This month, we are busy arranging the final details of Avio-Diepen’s full integration under the Proponent name. Our two companies came together two and a half years ago; though our partnership has been so natural, it feels like we’ve been working together for much longer. We are so excited about how impactful our work together has been so far that we wanted to highlight what this final integration means for our current suppliers and customers, and for the aerospace industry moving forward.

In fact, earlier this month, our Chief Operating Officer, Jeff Nixon, spoke with MRO Network and did a great job of summarizing not only the history and finalization of the coming together of Kapco Global and Avio-Diepen into Proponent, but also Proponent’s distribution philosophy, and some exciting technologies and trends that we’re keeping tabs on in the aviation industry. When Avio-Diepen joined Proponent, we formed the world’s largest independent aircraft parts distributor. What that means to us is that we will continue to be able to provide the same intimate, attentive customer support we always have, but with the global scale and reach to get you exactly what you need, when you need it, anywhere in the world.  

The combined resources of the new Proponent comprises 10 global facilities staffed by over 600 employee-owners. This includes over 400,000 square feet of warehouse space housing 380,000 parts. Moving forward, Proponent’s entire portfolio (all the parts and components you have come to expect from Proponent over the past year, and Kapco Global and Avio-Diepen in the decades before that) is all available on one global ordering system: ProCart. We also provide around-the-clock global customer and supplier support to ensure that wherever you are, you are taken care of.

Moving forward, we will continue to balance our personable, high-touch customer service style with the insights and opportunities provided by technological advances.
