On the evening of December 8, The Orange County Register gathered one hundred plus Orange County employers to celebrate the annual Top Workplaces award. This year, Kirkhill Aircraft Parts Co. (DBA as Kapco Global) was honored alongside large, mid-sized and small businesses throughout the area for their organizational commitment to creating a positive company culture. “This award is especially meaningful because it was based upon our employee’s feedback about what it’s like to work for Kapco Global,” said Rita Mould, Vice President Human Resources. “As an ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan) company, we realize that we wouldn’t be the company we are without our employee-owners. This award is a testament to the positive and entrepreneurial work environment our dedicated team members have created at Kapco Global.”
Each year, The Orange County Register encourages employees within the county to submit their feedback through a survey created by WorkplaceDynamics. The results of this survey, designed to analyze and consider several arenas within the work place, is then used to determine Top Workplace nominees with a proven commitment to their workforce.
Through numerous initiatives, including our ongoing pursuit of employee engagement and the excellent customer service that comes as a result, Kapco Global is on a continuous path toward furnishing our staff with the tools they need to do and feel their best. In fact, we were commended by FranklinCovey® for Global Implementation of The 7 Habits® of Customer Service, and, as a 100% employee-owned company, we were named an ESOP Company of the Year. This company culture continues to make Kapco Global a leader among aircraft parts distributors.
