Kate Schaefer is a senior aerospace executive with more than 30 years of experience. She possesses comprehensive expertise in international P&L management, sales, supply chain, operations, and aftermarket services. Renowned for her innovative approach and strategic acumen, Kate has consistently delivered strong results, successfully managing major change and organizational growth, especially in demanding environments or during difficult transition periods.
Her career started in Hamburg, Germany and includes a variety of senior global leadership positions with AAR, HEICO Aerospace, Moog Aerospace and most recently The Boeing Company, where she spent 5 years and last held the position of Senior Vice President & GM of Aircraft modifications, Converted Freighters, Cabin Interiors and Specialty Products. Kate joined the Bain Capital Japan team in September 2024 as a Senior Aerospace Adviser and later joined the team of Jamco Corporation in August 2025 as the Executive Chair of the Board of Directors.
